This man, Sergey Tyukanov, looks a little like most of the ceramics teachers I know. His work draws obvious comparisons to fifteenth century painter Hieronymus Bosch as well as Albrect Duerer, an engraver and a contemporary of Bosch. I would say more, but it's been a long week at work and I kind of want to just leave the images without explanation. See the food and utensils, draw the conclusion that I've had cooking at the forefront of my thoughts all week, and now my thoughts are drifting back to art. Sometimes the lines blur. Sometimes an artist's work should be left to speak for itself.
